What You Can Expect

DocLogic's consulting network physicians may recommend a treatment plan, which may or may not include prescriptions for medication. This is determined on a case-by-case basis by the physician using his/her own medical judgment as to whether sufficient information has been obtained from the patient on which to make an evaluation and diagnosis. This entire process is documented appropriately, and in detail.

DocLogic's network physicians do not issue prescriptions for substances regulated by the DEA, those used for a non-therapeutic purpose, and/or those substances that may be harmful (potential for abuse or addiction).

In the event a physician does prescribe medication, he/she will usually limit the supply to no more than thirty days. Patients with chronic illnesses should visit their Primary Care Physicians or other specialists for extended care.

DocLogic is not a pharmacy. The prescribing physician calls in the prescription by telephone or uses e-prescribing tools to provide the prescription to the member's preferred pharmacy.

Prescriptions are determined on a case-by-case basis by the consulting physician using his/her own medical judgment; DocLogic cannot guarantee that a prescription will be written. DocLogic physicians do not prescribe DEA-controlled medications.
